Thekkiny Krupa Ayurveda Hospital, a centre for medical excellence in Ayurveda has a legacy of 65 years in traditional Ayurveda. The Ayurveda Hospital was founded by late Sri. Ayyappan Vaidyen, a great Ayurvedic physician, who practised the holistic medicine at home, the Ayurveda tradition was carried forth by his son late Sri. Krishna Vaidyan who was very famous in Bala Chikitsa(pediatrics)and later on by his grandson late Dr. T. K Prabhakaran (Rtd.Senior Medical officer Govt of Kerela),Who completed his B.A.M. at Govt ayurveda college Trivandrum.The Thekkiny Krupa Ayurkendra hospital was established by Dr. T.K. Prabhakaran and it gained popularity with genuine ways of treatment and pure Ayurveda Medication.
Now the fourth generation Physicians Dr. T.P. Harikrishnan (Chief Physician), Dr. Roshni Hari & Dr. Arya Prabhu (consulting physicians) are the strength behind this institution and making it popular globally with specific, pure Ayurveda treatments.
Sri Ayyappan vaidyer
Founder of Thekkiny Krupa Ayurveda Hospital is our great grandfather, late Sri Ayyappan vaidyer. He had long tradition in ayurveda medicine. He was practicing at home and was more concentrating as a general practitioner.
Dr.T.K Prabhakaran
He attained the job as Govt. research officer at Lucknow, but he was left the job to serve people in mother town and to help his father in the O.P. During this Govt job of medical practitioner was also awaiting him and he continued in that post for long 30 years till his retirement
Dr T.P Harikrishnan
It was done with an intention of educating therapists genuinely practicing panchakarma. This was done, only when he found the difficulty in posting good panchakarma therapists who are properly practiced.
